This public notice serves to inform the project area landowners within the Hides Petroleum Development License 1 (PDL1) that Tuguba Region has reached 100% clan chairmen appointments.

MRDC will now proceed with the second Tuguba Region Director Election. The election program will be conducted at Hilton Hotel on the tentative dates and times as per schedule below:

This program will be facilitated in consultation with the Papua New Guinea Electoral Commission, supported and witnessed by the National Petroleum Authority, the Independent Observers and other key stakeholders.

The timely and transparent distribution of benefits to the rightful beneficiaries of Hides PDL1 remains MRDC’s highest priority. Achieving this objective requires continued cooperation, mutual respect and shared responsibility among all stakeholders.
