We’re Hiring: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Assets & Infrastructure Division | Port Moresby
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to oversee MEL activities for our Community Investment Trust Fund Program, ensuring high-quality community investments. The role provides strategic oversight, monitors project performance against plans, and supports the timely delivery of project outcomes.
You will:
- Assist in the design and implementation of MEL tools and activities.
- Develop, monitor, and report on MEL plans and project performance.
- Engage stakeholders and support priority MEL initiatives.
- Ensure project activities remain relevant and stakeholder-focused.
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and MEL outputs.
- Support project teams, partners, and consultants to deliver effective outcomes.
- Review consultant and partner deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements:
- Degree in development studies, research, or communications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in delivering monitoring and evaluation activities is essential.
- Experience working in Papua New Guinea (PNG) is essential.
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Tok Pisin is also required.
- Strong writing and donor reporting skills.
