We’re looking for a Community Development Officer to support the development and successful implementation of the Community Investment Trust Fund across the different project impacted areas around PNG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical and strategic advice on community development issues in the project impact areas.
- Identify community projects that support sustainable development and recommend them for approval.
- Oversee the delivery of community initiatives within approved budgets and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
- Provide timely weekly updates and monthly reports to the senior management team.
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary Qualification in Community Development or Social Science/Studies or related.
- Sound track record in implementation of community development projects and initiatives
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar or related role.
- Sound financial analysis of project related costs and decision making
- Class 1 & 6 PNG driver’s licence.
- Experience with remote project work is an advantage.
